We’ve been involved in large scale culture change and learning initiatives both with and without bespoke environments. By way of example, when working with a client on their safety culture change, we converted two shipping containers that housed a mini cinema and digital interactive zones. These mobile learning environments moved from site to site around Australia allowing leaders to be on the frontline with real time visibility of operations whilst learning. This was one of the most powerful tools in demonstrating to managers why their leadership was so critical to safety outcomes. These environments allowed managers to experience the difference and have light-bulb moments that create new attitudes and behaviours.
We use gamification to activate an emotional connection between participants and the knowledge they need to learn. The result: significant long-term changes in behaviours and practices.

Virtual reality (VR) is all about creating environments that simulate the real world in order to create a lifelike experience. Our coding team overlays these real world scenarios with choices that can lead participants to varying outcomes based on the learning that is required. Our virtual worlds allow people to safely interact with their work environments to try out different actions and behaviours and see the results (a bit like those “choose-your-own-adventure” books).
Augmented Reality (AR) is particularly useful for delivering step-by-step instructional training. It is essentially the blending of virtual reality and real life. Our developers create images or instructions within applications that are overlaid into the real world settings.
